Demigod is a fantastic strategy game. It succeeds at being simple to learn but difficult to master. The most enjoyable moments are playing multiplayer online when my team unites in a cohesive strategy. There is a sort of choreography to a Demigod match. To play at a high level, the movements, attacks, and buys of teammates must compliment each other. If my teammates are putting a lot of pressure on one side of the map that might create an opportunity to sneak past the defenses on the other side of the map. The best teams know each others' Demigod's abilities and coordinate when to activate them. This need for communication leads to my only complaint about Demigod. There is no in-game voice chat, giving pre-made groups with access to Ventrillo or TeamSpeak a huge advantage over pick up groups. That being said, if you're serious enough to want play Demigod at a high level competitively, the way it's meant to be played, getting a Ventrillo server set up for you and your friends is not that big of a deal.
